Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF (Rich Text File) document file format. Photographs and artwork should be submitted in one of the following file formats: JPG, PNG, PDF, TIFF, or SVG.
  3. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and, if applicable, all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  4. The text adheres to the size, stylistic, and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  5. Permission to Archive and Distribute

By submitting this agreement, the copyright owner grants Cornfield Review the non-exclusive right to reproduce, translate, and/or distribute the submission (including the abstract) as agreed upon, in print and electronic format and in any medium, including but not limited to audio or visual, for the purposes of inclusion in Cornfield Review. You also agree that Cornfield Review may make and retain more than one copy for the purpose of preservation, security and backup.

    Authority to Grant Copyright

You represent that you have the authority to grant the rights contained in this agreement. You also represent that your submission does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe upon anyone's copyright. If the submission contains material for which you do not hold copyright, you represent that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant Cornfield Review the rights by this agreement, and that such third party owned material is clearly identified and acknowledged within the text or content of the submission. Your acceptance of this agreement gives permission to the Cornfield Review staff to submit an object to Cornfield Review on your behalf.
